We are looking for a User Experience Researcher to join our growing Product Tech team. Location – Chicago, Hybrid About the role: Plan and conduct research studies using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods Analyze and synthesize data to identify user needs, pain points, and behavioral patterns Foster a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors, contributing to the development of user personas, journey maps, and empathy-driven design Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to integrate user insights into the product development process Present research insights and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product lifecycle Participate in design reviews to determine usability, accessibility, and desirability Experience & Skills we value: Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in UX and working with an Agile product team Ability to empathize with users Exceptional verbal and written communication Knowledge and experience performing user research through a variety of methods throughout the design process Experience creating intuitive solutions across devices and platforms Experience creating information architecture diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and personas Proficiency with working in UX tools such as Maze, UserTesting.com, etc. We’re on a mission to create more joy in people’s lives, and that includes our internal employees.
