Role Overview
This is a temporary 6-month contract role that will serve as the Consulting Director, Visual Merchandising for the Americas region, reporting to the Executive Director, Global Retail. This individual is responsible for leading and executing all in-store activations for the Americas region. They will partner closely with the Americas Marketing and Wholesale Teams to consistently deliver VM activations aligned to the Marketing calendar and regional priorities.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the current North America retail landscape and trends and has proven experience aligning assortment strategy with planogram direction. The ability to navigate complexity, lead multiple workstreams simultaneously, and support consistent transformation and change will be imperative to their success.
Overall Responsibilities:
VISUAL MERCHANDISING RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development of all VM updates and consumer event activations to the highest possible standard for the Americas marketWork closely with the Executive Director, Global Retail to ensure that all Americas in-store initiatives are strategically aligned with the Global brand visionOversee the ongoing maintenance and updating of all Open-Sell systems in the AmericasDeep dive into marketing briefs, regional insights, and opportunities to lead teams to effective ideas and conceptsMeet all timelines and ensure delivery of executions for stakeholder review. Manage expectations cross-functionally when timelines are not favorable to proper processes and executional standardsAbility to manage various fast-paced workstreams with confidenceVM TEAM LEADERSHIP DUTIES
Oversee and lead a team of 4 direct reportsCollaborate with the Americas Marketing and Key Account leads and team members to identify questions and pertinent project information needed to execute assignmentsIn partnership with Creative Operations, ensure timelines and process for VM workflow aligns to on counter datesManage vendor relationships as they relate to VM and ensure collaborative partnerships are maintained while meeting timelinesMentor and inspire teams to perform at the top of their abilities and foster growth in the overall collective ability of the team to think differently and more broadly about their workChampion creative problem solving and develop a reputation for being a collaborative and solutions-oriented teamJob Requirements/Qualifications:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in relevant industry. Beauty experience required, preferably with Sephora and/or ULTA.Background in Industrial Design, Merchandising, Architecture and/or Art DirectionElevated taste, keen design sensibilities and the ability to whole-heartedly deep dive into everything Brazilian to meaningfully contribute to the expanding material, spatial and fixturing language of the brandExperienced people manager, inspiring mentor, and proven team builder

Salary Range
$145,000-$160,000 USD
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
