We're seeking a visionary who strives to push the boundaries of graphic design and art direction. Color, typography, imagery & style are your passion. Branding and visual communications are your stock-in-trade. A high taste level, a collaborative spirit and a brand-first mentality are a must. This position will play a critical role as a brand ambassador, both internally and externally on behalf of our clients and their brands.
The senior designer works under the direction of the creative director and in collaboration with the broader creative and account teams. Responsibilities include working from briefs to conceptualize a variety of project deliverables across digital, social, ambient media, and print, including websites social media, presentation decks, brand campaigns, event materials, and more.
The person in this role is responsible for design and production from initial concept creation to final sign-off. You ensure all files are built to specification using best practices to keep projects and files organized according to team standards. You gain and maintain fluency with our clients’ brands. You’re also driven to learn the latest tools and trends.
Requirements:
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high level expertise in color theory, design principles including typography, composition, hierarchy, iconography and imagery.
- Bachelors degree in Design or related field - 4-7 years of experience in design with knowledge of brand marketing and creative strategies
- Demonstrated experience in using various digital communication tools (task management systems, cloud storage, chat, etc.)
- Clear understanding of asset governance best practices and creative operations
- Excellent visual, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Mastery of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe XD and familiarity of other Adobe products such as After Effects and Premiere - Expert ability in applying designs to Microsoft Word and PowerPoint templates and documents.
- Functional knowledge of HTML, CSS, CMS and email editors. - Experience designing event and large-format signage
- Communicate effectively and clearly with individuals who may be unfamiliar with design formats and terminology
- Collaborate and build trust with team members of varying skill sets.
