\nPosition Summary:
\nThe Designer will apply sound mechanical engineering and design principles to create approval and fabrication drawings. Involved in the entire design process, including conceptual model creation to production-level design and detailing.

\nJob Details:\n
- \n\t
- Direct Hire Career Opportunity with a growing, premier, local manufacturing company\n\t
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, typically can have half day on Friday\n
- \n\t
- Around $25 per hour, depending on experience\n
- \n\t
- Customize products to meet customer specifications\n\t
- Propose product changes for added value\n\t
- Collaborate with engineering for custom designs\n\t
- Ensure manufacturability of designs\n\t
- Communicate with purchasing and other departments\n\t
- Generate shipping documents\n\t
- Address design or production enhancements\n
\nThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:
\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n
- \n\t
- Associate degree in relevant field or equivalent experience\n\t
- Proficient in CAD-based drafting software\n\t
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n\t
- Knowledge of design and drafting principles\n\t
- Strong collaboration skills\n\t
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents\n

- Experience with SolidWorks\n\t
- Understanding of metal fabrication processes\n\t
- Fluent in ERP system navigation\n
