Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Our client, a children’s apparel brand, is seeking a Graphic Artist to join their New York City based team! In this collaborative and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for creating new graphic and textile layouts for girl’s apparel.
Responsibilities:
- Create original artwork and graphics
- Manipulate print repeats and design colorways
- Keep up to date on and research new graphics trends in kids/tween market
- Color matching, indexing and cleaning existing artwork
- Prepare trend presentation materials
- Creating repeats within the brands’ size limitations
- Collaborating with the design team to manage art deadlines and ensure that graphics are in line with customer image and aesthetic
- Create sample/production ready files
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Expert Photoshop and Illustrator skills
- Strong sense of color
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
- Proactive team player with strong initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
