Girls Apparel Designer, Prints & Graphics
Our client is searching for an Apparel Designer to create graphics and prints for their kidswear.
Base Pay Range
$30.00/hr - $34.00/hr
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Adobe Suite to create CAD images and prints for kid's apparel
- Select colors, fonts, images, and layouts
- Pull inspiration imagery and develop mood board and original artwork
- Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product
- Collaborate with designers on trend concepting
- Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software
- Establish creative direction for the company within brand guidelines
- Support multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
- Research seasonal trends, themes, color, raw materials, and styling
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Production, and Technical Design to achieve product execution and maintain design integrity
- Create design card tech packs
- Approval of lab dips and fabric/yarn submits
Requirements:
- 2-3+ years experience required
- High taste level and creative ability
- Knowledge of seasonal silhouette and color trends
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented, good follow through
- Strong organizational, communication, and written skills
- Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Skilled with PLM system
- BA Fashion Design
