Position Title : UX Writer- Content Strategist Duration : 6 months Location : Mountain View, CA (Hybrid) Responsibilities: Design Intuitive Product Experiences : Create clear, user-friendly content that helps users easily navigate and achieve their goals. Define Product Vision and Narrative : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish cohesive product narratives across platforms. Simplify User Experiences : Apply your expertise to simplify and improve complex systems, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and vision. Apply UX Content Best Practices : Use established style guidelines to create high-quality, consistent content for complex products and tools. Support Decision Makers : Contribute to studies, workshops, and reviews to help senior leaders make informed decisions about product direction. Qualifications: Education : Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Literature, Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). Experience : 7+ years in writing, editorial, marketing, UX writing, content design, or a similar field. Proven track record of leading content strategy projects. UX-Focused Product Writing : Experience working on UX writing and shaping content for multidisciplinary teams across multiple platforms. Portfolio : Demonstrated excellence in UX writing, showcasing expertise in tone, voice, writing guidelines, and content standards. Must-Have Experience: Writing, Editorial, Marketing, UX Writing, Content Design. Preferred Qualifications: User-Focused Writing : Passion for simplifying complex systems and creating content that is clear and user-centered. Strategic Thinking : Ability to proactively solve problems and unblock challenges to drive progress. Independence : Proven ability to independently lead UX writing initiatives, establish frameworks, and manage content patterns and voice/tone. Balancing Strategy and Tactics : Strong record of balancing high-level strategy with actionable work for quick results. Collaboration and Leadership : Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with both internal teams and stakeholders, with or without formal authority. Complex Projects : Experience managing complex projects under tight timelines and coordinating with large teams.
