Position Details:
- Industry - Banking and Financial
- Title - UX Designer (ADA)
- Duration - 12+ months
- Location - Chicago, IL / Kennesaw, GA / Richmond, VA
- Pay - $60/hour to $70/hour
DAY TO DAY
- Help translate product strategy into interaction flows and final designs working with technology partners to plan and design new features and own the overall quality of what is being delivered
- You will be an advocate for users and an ambassador for Client’s brand, creating designs that are familiar, intuitive, and accessible for all
- Partner with 2 developers and 1 other UX designer to assist in a GIS Accessibility initiativeEnsure that all designs and development are ADA compliant
MUST HAVES
- 4+ years of UX design experience
- Manager prefers candidates from "Start-Ups" or smaller companies **not freelance**
- Experience with Sketch and Figma
- MUST have ADA/ Accessibility experience (Section 508 and WCAG)
- A strong portfolio committed to user centered design
- CANNOT have obvious ADA issues in their portfolio
- Must know how to look at browser dev tools (HTML/CSS) and understand the component
- May require some basic testing knowledge
- Experience designing responsive websites, applications, and other digital interfaces
- Experience working in an agile environment, working with JIRA
