Job Description Summary
As a member of the Capital Markets Property Marketing Hub, the Design Manager is responsible for planning, producing, and overseeing the creative strategy, implementation, and processes for a Capital Markets Graphic Design team. This position leads the Graphic Design team and collaborates with the broader Marketing team to execute strategic vision and to provide timely, consistent, and high-quality design work for our Brokerage Teams and Investor Clients.

Responsibilities
- Work with Capital Markets Property Marketing Hub Marketing Managers to develop and implement best practices to support operational excellence and build an effective marketing model that will deliver exceptional results
- Oversee the Capital Markets Property Marketing Hub Graphic Design Team both as a people manager and as a creative lead – working with the team to grow their design skillset, accomplish their goals, approach design to align with the strategic goals of the Brokerage Team and Client, and to create best-in-class property marketing deliverables
- Design and format bespoke marketing materials as needed
- Help translate complex ideas and data into simple to read, easy to understand design materials
- Collaborate with Brokerage Teams and Investor Clients, Hub Team Lead, Marketing team and Graphic Design team to creatively translate content into products
- Serve as a liaison to 3rd party design vendors and print vendors as needed
- Review creative output from Graphic Design team to ensure the work communicates critical messages and key value propositions to achieve business objectives and elevate Cushman & Wakefield’s brand
- Manage internal workflow and prioritize workload to match creative resources
- Communicate with Marketing team about priorities, progress, deadlines, and questions
- Provide training and mentorship to Graphic Design team
- Stay updated on design trends and encourage creativity within the team
- Demonstrate high-level creative development and production skills
- Enforce corporate design standards on local marketing materials
- Develop strong connections with colleagues in similar roles for effective sharing at a national level
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of senior-level design experience
- In-house corporate design experience preferred
- Experience in the Commercial Real Estate sector preferred
- Experience in long-form design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Familiarity with project management tools preferred
- Strong ability to work independently and efficiently in high-volume environments
- Leadership experience and team management skills
- Knowledge of industry-standard design practices and technological advances
- Business acumen and understanding of project management
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with initiative and teamwork orientation
Additional Information
Cushman & Wakefield offers benefits including health, vision, dental, flexible spending, retirement plans, and more. The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000, depending on experience and location.
