POSITION: Digital Marketing Assistant (NYFF)
DEPARTMENT: Marketing & Communications
LOCATION: New York, New York
REPORTS TO: Digital Marketing Manager
TERM: Full-Time; Seasonal (11 Weeks): 8/4/2025 - 10/17/2025
RATE: $22/hour, with overtime after 40 hours of work in a week
JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the NYFF Digital Marketing Assistant will support the mission and activities of NYFF63 by supporting the festival-specific digital marketing campaign.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- Assists with NYFF website, including page / asset updates and the writing, formatting, and posting of blogs and other content
- Assists with NYFF social media coverage including promotion of NYFF films and events, live-posting from Q&As and talks, community management, and sourcing archival and supporting materials
- Assists with development of video and audio content during NYFF
- Assists with creating of various NYFF documents, including videography/editing workflows
- Assists with workflow management of creative elements through the approvals process
- Supports the aggregation of festival-specific data and general reporting
- 2 years digital marketing experience, ideally in a film/entertainment or film festival environment
- Knowledge of film industry and New York Film Festival recommended
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently but with open communication
- Experience with the production/shooting/editing of video/audio recommended
- Experience with WordPress, G Suite, Slack, and basic HTML recommended
