As a Senior Analyst of Network Design at REI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our network infrastructure to support strategic priorities. This position requires a collaborative approach across REI's value chain to assess and enhance our network systems, processes, and designs. You will evaluate how evolving business strategies impact these systems and identify solutions to improve our network's efficiency and effectiveness.
You will conduct detailed analyses that balance complexity and risk, ensuring swift and secure decision-making. Effective communication of intricate processes and analyses to cross-functional partners, including REI's Senior Leadership Team, is essential. You will be instrumental in advancing REI's network design capabilities, taking ownership of enhancing our network infrastructure and analytical proficiency.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Leads or participates in strategic planning processes to align our Network Design Project Portfolio with our
strategic outcomes. - Ensures that REI's network infrastructure is measuring the right set of KPIs to achieve our strategic outcomes and collaborates with IT partners to build appropriate infrastructure.
- Develops models of REI's network systems through process and value stream mapping.
- Develops, presents, and recommends plans, solutions, and strategies related to effective Network Design, Long Range Strategic Planning, and supports the Budgeting Process.
- Analyzes complex network system performance using data from internal and external sources, both structured and unstructured, to share insights with decision-makers.
- Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in network performance data to locate influences. Identifies key drivers and uses results to recommend changes and identify areas for improvement.
- Provides consultation and participates on cross-functional teams to address business issues. Manages cross functional teams on small and medium-sized projects.
- Architects and produces datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools that improve the enterprise's ability to generate performance insights.
- Designs and optimizes network architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborates with network engineers and IT teams to deploy network solutions that align with business needs.
- Conducts network capacity planning and performance analysis to support future growth and technology advancements.
- Develops and maintains network design documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standards.
- Evaluates and integrates new network technologies and tools to enhance network performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain from an accredited institution. Masters in a relevant field like Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics preferred.
- 5+ years experience data mining and extraction skills like; SQL, Python, R. 7+ years experience in Network Optimization, Data Analytics and/or Business Analytics preferred.
- Expertise in Excel, Tableau, Sigma, and/or other analytical and data visualization platforms.
- Proven expertise in Statistics.
- Knowledge of optimization principles and experience with optimization software packages (e.g., Optilogic, Llamasoft).
- Familiarity with planning, forecasting, transportation, inventory management, and strategic sourcing.
- Experience developing business cases using hard data analysis and demonstrating aptitude with key corporate financial principles such as IRR, ROI, and Depreciation.
- Ability to analyze and design scalable processes and develop measurements to control these processes.
- Proven ability to manage many simultaneous projects, requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Pay Range
$83,700.00 - $134,000.00 per year
