Lead and inspire a high-performing creative team of copywriters, designers, and content experts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous growthServe as Brand steward of the brand expression that defines Rover's visual and verbal identity across all marketing channels, ensuring consistent and compelling storytellingPartner closely with cross-functional teams including UX, product marketing, lifecycle marketing, performance marketing, and PR to create integrated, impactful brand experiences that are customer-centric and brand accretiveManage and direct external agency relationships, ensuring creative work meets brand standards, business objectives, and maintains high-quality strategic and creative outputsEstablish and track key performance metrics for brand marketing creative efforts, using data-driven insights to continuously refine and optimize creative strategiesDrive the global brand narrative for Rover, adapting creative approaches to resonate with diverse markets while maintaining a cohesive brand identityOversee the development of multi-channel marketing content, including digital, social, video, print, and emerging media platformsCollaborate with senior leadership to align creative strategies with overall business goals and contribute to long-term company growth initiativesChampion a customer-first approach in all creative work, ensuring that marketing content authentically reflects Rover's brand promise and connects emotionally with target audiencesRequired Skills:
Demonstrated track record of leading high-performing creative teams through strategic vision and inspirational leadership, with at least 15 years of progressive marketing and creative leadership experienceExceptional portfolio showcasing innovative brand storytelling across multiple channels, with proven ability to create memorable, emotionally resonant marketing campaignsDeep expertise in translating complex business strategies into compelling creative narratives that drive measurable customer engagement and business resultsAdvanced proficiency in brand development, with the ability to craft and maintain a consistent, differentiated brand voice across diverse marketing platformsStrong data literacy and analytical skills, capable of using performance metrics to inform and evolve creative strategiesExtensive experience managing and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, UX, marketing, and executive leadershipProven ability to develop and nurture creative talent, with a coaching and mentorship approach that elevates team performanceTechnical versatility across digital marketing channels, including social media, web, mobile, video, and emerging digital platformsOutstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts to both creative teams and non-creative stakeholdersStrategic agency management experience, including selecting, directing, and optimizing relationships with external creative partnersExpert-level understanding of brand positioning, market segmentation, and customer experience designDemonstrated success in developing global marketing strategies that can be localized for different markets and audiencesAdvanced creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to changing market conditions and business prioritiesComprehensive knowledge of current marketing technologies, design tools, and creative production workflowsEntrepreneurial mindset with a track record of driving innovation and introducing breakthrough creative approaches in complex, fast-moving business environmentsBenefits of Working at Rover.com

In the greater Seattle area the first-year salary range is $158,513 - $210,822 with a 15% bonus.
