Director of Machine Learning Remote – United States
$We’re partnering with a high-growth, venture-backed SaaS company that is reshaping how enterprises leverage predictive intelligence. With a mission to make machine learning scalable and actionable across industries, they’re now hiring a Director of Machine Learning to lead strategy, architecture, and implementation of core ML initiatives.
As Director of Machine Learning, you’ll be responsible for driving the end-to-end development and deployment of ML models used across multiple product lines. You’ll lead a team of ML engineers and data scientists to shape the company’s long-term AI vision.
Define and lead the machine learning strategy across product and infrastructure
Architect scalable ML systems and oversee model development, evaluation, and deployment
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Executive teams to align ML efforts with business goals
Grow and mentor a team of high-performing machine learning engineers and data scientists
Own the roadmap for ML experimentation, automation, and productionization
Ensure models are explainable, monitored, and compliant with data privacy regulations
10+ years of experience in machine learning or applied data science, with at least 3 years in leadership roles
~ Expertise in Python, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI, or similar)
~ Deep understanding of model lifecycle management, feature engineering, and MLOps
~ Track record of building and scaling ML teams in a fast-paced environment
~ MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
