ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Hire, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate staff and conduct performance reviews- Direct daily work activities and inspect completed work for conformance to standards- Plan, develop and coordinate promotions and special events on and off property adhering to established timeframes- Responsible for promotional issues that may arise before, during and after events- Establish, write and route official promotional rules property-wide- Approve set-up of promotional software applications- Assist with developing an annual budget- Generate necessary requests to ensure invoices are paid promptly- Report on winners, prize distribution and guest counts- Work with vendors on gift selection and purchase- Drive attendants to off-site events
KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIESKnowledge and CertificationRequired:- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience- 3 years hospitality or customer service experience- 1 year supervisory experience- Accurate and detail-oriented- Highly organized and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Windows- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills- Excellent problem solving skills
