AWS Marketing-Global Brand Partnerships is seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst to join their Business Planning team. In this role, you will serve as a key member providing centralized analytics, reporting, and data-driven insights to support marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in SQL, BI tools (Tableau, Quicksight, Excel, Airtable), and Salesforce.com, combined with excellent analytical and communication abilities. You will work directly with multiple teams and stakeholders to solve complex data challenges, create comprehensive dashboards, and drive data-informed decision-making. This position requires 4+ years of business analysis experience, with demonstrated expertise in marketing analytics, campaign performance tracking, and process optimization. The role demands both technical proficiency and business acumen to translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.
Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting
Extract, process, and analyze data from multiple sources
Create and maintain interactive dashboards with drill-down capabilities
Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholder requirements
Conduct campaign performance analysis and provide optimization recommendations
Technical Implementation
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction
Design and develop visualizations using BI tools
Manage Salesforce.com lead tracking and campaign reporting
Implement and maintain data tagging protocols
Quality & Process Management
Ensure data accuracy and reliability through regular testing
Document dashboard designs, data sources, and processes
Identify and implement process improvements
Maintain data hygiene and consistency
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with business leaders to define key business questions
Meet regularly with internal stakeholders to understand data needs
Present findings and recommendations to various audiences
Facilitate data-based discussions regarding campaign performance
Strategic Support
Design operational best practices for reporting and analytics
Define data elements to enable analytical capabilities
Support marketing strategy through data-driven insights
Optimize customer journey through lead and campaign analysis
Project Management
Own end-to-end analytics projects
Coordinate with cross-functional teams
Meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Drive continuous improvement initiatives

Basic Qualifications
4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
