eBay is seeking a talented and dynamic product marketer to drive inbound and outbound product marketing efforts to create experiences within partnerships and social sharing. This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of the eBay marketing team working with the paid media, MarTech, design and partnership product teams to support new and existing partnership integrations for eBay listing activity across multiple 3rd party marketplaces. This role will partner cross-functionally with product, design, research, marketing, communications, customer service, and market teams. You will partner with research and data science to synthesize inbound research informing your product marketing recommendations across product strategy and go-to-market. You will collaborate with product and design to influence product value proposition and in-product content, develop product market positioning plans, and work across marketing and communication channel partners to influence execution of outbound demand and adoption plans. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is a catalyst for launching and driving complex projects, a strong communicator who proactively provides status visibility to executives, and collaborates end to end across the product lifecycle to execute with high impact. You have a passion for ecommerce, and a deep understanding of social marketplace partnerships and integrations to drive engagement, sales, and foster our community of enthusiasts! What you will accomplish: Ensure buyers who come to eBay through partner integrations have a magical first shopping experience, convert to a sale, and become brand loyal future repeat shoppers. Establish deep partnerships with research and analytics partners, product partners, and outbound channel owners. Create, write, and socialize product marketing strategies to influence product roadmaps and GTM strategies informed by insights from synthesizing market, customer, and competitive research. Create customer feedback loops during the product and marketing development process to refine the product narrative and value proposition articulation. Collaborate with product and analytics to collect data to personalize the product and reengagement experiences. Lead the charge on developing key messaging content such as product value propositions, narratives, customer messaging, naming, and external facing proof points. Manage the go-to-market strategy and planning for product launches and lead through channel experts to ensure execution and impact measurement. Approach go-to-market comprehensively to ensure buyers are delivered relevant and meaningful communications across in-product, marketing, PR, market communities, sales, customer service, and partner messaging. Build plans for new buyer success and buyer reengagement experiments, collaborating with partners to execute, measure, and scale successful experiments. Identify internal product market fit tracking metrics; synthesize customer feedback to provide signal amidst the noise across the product life cycle. Define key metrics for success, and track progress against goals for product launches and in-market growth adoption of existing products or services. What you will bring:
5+ years of experience in product marketing, with at least 3 years leading company-wide initiatives. Strong track record of developing product and go-to-market strategies at ecommerce companies or within buyer-focused organizations. Preferred experience in marketplace integrations and/or partnerships. Proven ability to drive innovation and execute projects with excellence. Success working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and excellent communication skills. Strong data analysis skills and experience with customer research techniques. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below: $139,600 - $207,900. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
