Job Summary:
The Digital Content Specialist role is focused on programming SEGA.com and the rest of SEGA's ecosystem of websites, identifying content relevant to our audiences to ensure our ecosystem of webpages are always fully up to date with news, new releases, and relevant information. As part of the Customer Experience team, this person will work cross-functionally with CRM, product marketing, communications, and creative services counterparts to maintain a content calendar, proactively seeking out relevant content and ensuring cross-functional teams work together to maintain SEGA.com's presence as the premiere destination to discover everything you need to know about the world of SEGA and its related studios and franchises.
The ideal candidate will have strong copywriting and organization skills, will be a proactive self-starter, and will have a proven track record of working cross-functionally across multiple teams and stakeholders. This role will work across SEGA West publishing with collaborators in Europe, Japan, and the Los Angeles/Irvine area, but will be based in Irvine, CA and will work in office a minimum of 3 days per week.
Qualifications
Duties + Responsibilities: Manage content creation and publishing for SEGA.com and SEGA's ecosystem of websites including news articles, new game announcements, product page launch dates, and any other relevant content launches Develop and maintain a content programming calendar of new content and pages launching on SEGA.com Proactively seek out content for SEGA.com, working with counterparts in community, communications, product marketing, brand, and transmedia to identify new content to be programmed across the SEGA.com ecosystem Create and communicate process and programming guidelines to ensure SEGA.com maintains a high quality of copy and design Develop a clear SEGA.com tone of voice and content guidelines, evangelizing them to stakeholders across the SEGA business Work with sales and licensing team to support the programming of SEGA's webstore, ensuring PC and Console titles are up-to-date and accurate within the store ecosystem Work with Tech Services counterparts to identify new features to engage audiences on SEGA.com Write copy for news posts and product pages clearly translating product messaging and PR announcements into the tone of voice of SEGA.com Manage monthly reporting update presentations on website performance Working in-office is an essential function of this position. This requirement of face-to-face interaction is in place to ensure effective supervision, collaboration, and teamwork. In-office attendance is required for the following reasons:

Qualifications + Skills:
3-5 years of digital content programming experience in the entertainment or lifestyle spaces Working knowledge of CSS and HTML Experience working within Drupal or an equivalent content management system Ability to clearly brief creative teams to develop required video and design assets Strong communication skills among cross-functional teams including formal presentation skills and willingness to communicate with Director and VP level colleagues. Excellent attention to detail, with strong time management skills to meet deadlines with speed, flexibility and quality. Experience managing projects in Jira/Confluence or equivalent. Experience utilizing data and creating reports from Google Analytics. Passion for video games and gaming / marketing trends
