Responsibilities
- Establish and grow a world-class UX team, hiring, mentoring, and empowering designers, researchers, and UX strategists.
- Define team structure, roles, and responsibilities to support enterprise application design projects.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning within the UX team.
- Develop and implement a UX vision and strategy that aligns with the company's mission and business goals.
- Advocate for the value of UX across the organization, educating stakeholders on the importance of user-centered design principles.
- Partner with executive leadership to integrate UX into the overall product and service delivery strategy.
- Lead the end-to-end design process for enterprise applications, from discovery and ideation to delivery and iteration.
- Ensure the delivery of intuitive, consistent, and scalable designs that meet user needs and business objectives.
- Establish and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure design consistency across products.
- Champion the integration of user research and usability testing into the design process.
- Use qualitative and quantitative research methods to deeply understand user behavior, needs, and pain points.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations that inform design and development decisions.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to align UX initiatives with project goals.
- Ensure seamless integration of UX efforts into agile development cycles and client engagements.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, communicating the value of UX and building strong relationships.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design for enterprise applications.
- Drive innovation by exploring new tools, methods, and approaches to enhance the design process and outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in UX design, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in building and leading UX teams, particularly for enterprise or B2B applications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in designing complex, data-rich enterprise applications.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in UX design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Familiarity with enterprise technology platforms (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Oracle) and their UX challenges.
- Experience with agile product development processes and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and align diverse teams.
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate collaboration with engineering teams.
- Experience designing for global and multi-language products.
- Certification in UX or related design disciplines.
