solutions to design needs/challenges by the client. You will meet directly with clients with their specific needs whether in person or virtually, in order to progress them toward a purchase. You will be expected in those meetings to demonstrate solutions in real time as you navigate software such as: CAD, REVIT, Bluebeam or others.
You will also maintain plan control on our base designs as well as customization for reuse, and provide our purchasing department with
takeoff/quantities for assistance in budget controls and estimating. You will play a key role in assisting with value engineering to ensure the company is able to maximize returns through
best industry practices and specific material specifications. You may oversee and manage the lot specific plan development process through building permit and handoff to the construction
project teams. Qualifications:Degree in drafting or architecture or a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience. Highend residential experience is preferred. Proficient in software such as CAD, REVIT, and other 3D modeling software. Strong ability to create detailed drawings that communicate industry proven buildingpractices and avoid scope gaps, ambiguity, or RFI’s that lead to loss of companyprofitability. Interpersonal Skills - Focus on solving conflict, maintain confidentiality, listens to others. Oral Communication - Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations,listen, and gets clarification, respond well to questions, demonstrate group presentationskills, participate in meetings.
