Take pride in what you work toward andwhat you do!Job DetailsJob Details:The Architectural Design Lead is responsible for managing the daily inflow of design requests from our onsite sales team, which includes but is not limited to: Siting plan designs on the lot for company and county compliance and construction viability, and or coming up with creative
solutions to design needs/challenges by the client. You will meet directly with clients with their specific needs whether in person or virtually, in order to progress them toward a purchase. You will be expected in those meetings to demonstrate solutions in real time as you navigate software such as: CAD, REVIT, Bluebeam or others.
You will also maintain plan control on our base designs as well as customization for reuse, and provide our purchasing department with
takeoff/quantities for assistance in budget controls and estimating. You will play a key role in assisting with value engineering to ensure the company is able to maximize returns through
best industry practices and specific material specifications. You may oversee and manage the lot specific plan development process through building permit and handoff to the construction
project teams. Qualifications:Degree in drafting or architecture or a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience. Highend residential experience is preferred. Proficient in software such as CAD, REVIT, and other 3D modeling software. Strong ability to create detailed drawings that communicate industry proven buildingpractices and avoid scope gaps, ambiguity, or RFI’s that lead to loss of companyprofitability. Interpersonal Skills - Focus on solving conflict, maintain confidentiality, listens to others. Oral Communication - Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations,listen, and gets clarification, respond well to questions, demonstrate group presentationskills, participate in meetings. Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively, vary writing style to meetneeds, present numerical data effectively, able to read and interpret writteninformation. Teamwork - Balance team and individual responsibilities, exhibit objectivity andopenness to others' views, gives and welcomes feedback, contribute to building apositive team spirit, put success of team above own interests, able to build morale andgroup commitments to goals and objectives, support everyone's efforts to succeed. Planning/Organizing - Prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, plan foradditional resources, organize or schedule other people and their tasks, develop realisticaction plans.
