Position Summary
The Director of Commercial Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive commercial marketing strategies that drive growth, enhance brand awareness, and strengthen the Company's market position. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in commercial marketing, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a commercial marketing strategy to align with the Company's overall strategy and increase revenue.
- Review market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive insights.
- Identify target markets and develop positioning strategies to maximize market penetration.
- Drive brand positioning, messaging, and integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Oversee the development and execution of lead generation campaigns across multiple channels (digital, content marketing, events) to generate qualified sales leads.
- Collaborate with pricing, sales, and other departments to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.
- Provide the sales team with the necessary marketing materials and support to effectively close deals.
- Manage the commercial marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and other executives across the businesses.
- Manage relevant systems and processes development.
- Prepare materials for Senior Leadership and Board of Directors meetings.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, marketing, economics or equivalent training required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing roles with a similar focus.
- Proven experience in commercial marketing leadership roles, ideally within the B2B environment.
- Experience with marketing department transformation preferred.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.
- Proven ability to manage complex marketing budgets and deliver measurable results.
- Strong problem-solving skills, organizational and project management skills.
- Strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing independently.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate marketing plans to stakeholders.
- Project management and change management skills.
- Customer service oriented, recognizing the importance of client services.
- Exercises excellent professional judgment.
- Ability to multitask and manage large, complex projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing work accordingly.

- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
