Communication & Marketing Officer (Finance)
The vision for the Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Computing is to offer undergraduate and graduate degree programs that prepare USF students for high-demand careers, empower faculty to conduct scholarly research that leads to groundbreaking discoveries and technological advancements, grow industry partnerships, and promote ethical considerations and trust throughout the digital transformation underway in our world.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a graphic designer and multimedia content creator (photo and video) for the college's efforts to showcase student successes, faculty research, innovative programming, and workforce development initiatives. Content will be used on the college's website, newsletters, social media, and other channels to secure earned/organic coverage and more.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, public relations, technical writing, digital media, or related field.
- Two years of experience in related positions, or a master's degree in the listed fields.
- Appropriate coursework or vocational training may substitute for experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Higher education experience, especially creating graphics from academic research to aid public understanding.
- Creative samples demonstrating full content creation ability.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud tools and Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Produce print and digital marketing assets to promote the college, its students, faculty research, and industry partnerships.
- Create visually appealing content that adheres to USF branding guidelines.
- Simplify complex research into accessible visual content, such as explaining AI tools for PTSD detection or cybersecurity research for industry attack prevention.
- Maintain a photo library, shoot stills and videos for college events, and edit images using Adobe tools.
- Serve as a graphic artist for special requests, including grant proposal visuals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
