Base pay range $190,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr NS Pharma is a highly focused, research-driven biopharmaceutical company working in rare diseases. We’re exploring the potential of cutting-edge science as a subsidiary of Nippon Shinyaku Co., Ltd. In Japan Job Summary: Responsible for market access insight gathering and building & implementing market access product reimbursement & coverage communication tools to be used by appropriate NSP associates and select customers. Building of market access programs. Managing market access agency relationships and budgets. Work collaboratively with NSP cross-functional partners such as patient services, marketing, operations and medical . This is a hybrid position that requires two days in the Paramus, NJ office twice a week . Essential Duties and Responsibilities Create market access payer and site of care communication tactics to drive policy and payer initiatives Develop and implement promotional communication resources in alignment with brand positioning and market access & brand strategy Develop and implement non-personal market access media strategies and tactics that support brand strategy and initiatives including peer to peer digital programs, website resources and others Design, incorporate and manage market access content into brand websites and appropriate sales promotional resources Collaborate in the development and rollout of field-based payer & site of care pull-through programs via promotional material related to coverage, reimbursement and market access topics Conduct, analyze and communicate market access competitive insights & research Build & foster business relationships with key market access payer & site of care opinion leaders and advocates Develop & present market access information to appropriate market access site of care & payer conference audiences, and internal NSP management, committees, POAs and to functional workgroups Work with Directors of SoC & National Account Director and Director of Patient Strategy to develop, train and implement field teams’ market access communication resources Function as an advocate for, and a resource to, channel customer stakeholders pertaining to site of care & payer product access Work closely with training to provide relevant reimbursement/payer, managed care messaging & problem-solving too Build and maintain appropriate market access product launch communication tools such as P.I.E., VP decks, cost calculator, billing & coding material, AMCP dossier, P&T Kits etc... Manage agency performance and NSP promotional budget effectively Qualifications Comprehensive experience in orphan / rare disease, product launch, high price, medical benefit (infusion), cryogenic, procedure-based produts Experience with building communication tools for managed care coverage, coding and reimbursement processes and/or polidy Demonstrated ability to create appropriate market access channel stakeholder relationships with both clinical and non-clinical groups. (medical directors, clinical pharmacists, pharmacy administration, provider relations, member services, SoC stakeholders etc. Negotiation skills, business acumen, and analytical ability Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and presentation skills Strong project management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize with quality Develop, rollout, measure, adjust and build upon communication tools across multiple market access and field team needs Self-motivated, with excellent organizational skills, with ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team and individually Likes to work through others to gain success, secure accomplishments and meet objectives & goals Demonstrated effective ability to work in a diverse collaborative environment Education / Experience Minimum of bachelor’s in science, arts or the equivalent; MBA or advanced degree is preferred Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical/bioscience or related experience with product launch experience -- progressive market access experience in the pharmaceutical industry with 5 years in management-level positions with increasing responsibilities. Market Access payer & site of care experience for rare diseases is a plus Experience with building communication tools for manage care coverage, billing, coding and reimbursement processes and/or policy Ability to analyze and interpret health care regulations, legislation, rulemaking, policy & advisory opinions Stay within NSP compliance, moral, ethical and legal guardrails Ability to work from the NSP offices in Paramus, NJ two days or more per week and remotely the other days As requested/needed, travel to company meetings, market access customer meetings with DPAs & NADs, or to attend advocacy meetings and/or attendance of appropriate conferences will be required NS Pharma employees embrace our Mission to Help People Lead Healthier Happier Lives. The annualized target salary range for this ro le is $190,000 to $220,000;
actual salaries will vary and may be above or below this range depending on several factors, including experience, education, training, location, and merit.
