Director of Sales and Marketing
Company Overview:
Position Summary: As a Director of Sales and Marketing at NCC, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. You will lead a team of direct and indirect sales professionals and be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, managing key accounts, and building strong customer relationships. This role is ideal for an experienced sales leader with a proven track record in commercial sales, team management, and achieving ambitious targets. This is a Senior Leadership role at the company with a seat on the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), responsible for the growth and development of the overall company.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
· Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team, setting clear performance expectations and KPIs.
· Identify and target new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments to drive revenue growth.
· Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts and strategic customers, and / or support those that do
· Collaborate with the Innovation Center team to align sales efforts with product offerings and market demand.
· Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of market changes and develop strategies accordingly.
· Using Daily Visual Management (DVM) and KPI's to deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations to the SLT.
· Maintain and enhance the company's reputation through exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
· Ensure that the sales team is trained and equipped with the necessary tools and resources to excel in their roles.
· Develop marketing strategies, budgets, allocations and plans for execution including trade shows, paid media, inbound and outbound efforts
· Be the Voice of the Customer at NCC
· Collaborate with other ATS business units to create sales and marketing synergies
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
· Proven experience as a sales leader or in a similar leadership role within a manufactured product-based company.
· Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
· Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· In-depth understanding of the CPG and/or assembly automation markets, its dynamics, and customer behaviors.
· Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
· Proficiency in sales management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Experience with developing, managing, and analyzing results from marketing efforts
· Willingness to travel as needed.
