- Commission systems in the field optimize all the equipment settings to ensure the system operates as designed
- Collaborate & build solid relationships for projects with clients, client contacts, project managers, engineering, CAD, and operations team members during the commissioning process
- Manage and configure Barco CMS software, networks, switches-level components, and systems controls, and troubleshoot system issues, diagnose, and find resolutions
- Collaborate with the programmers to ensure the latest code version is stored on the project server and define audio system controls
- Keep current on technology, latest firmware updates, and standard field issues
- Contributes to the lessons learned and feedback to the design engineering team to improve system designs and product selection constantly
- Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience and certifications
- AVIXA CTS certification desired; CTS-D or CTS-I preferred
- Minimum of four (4) or more years of experience with AV integration in a mission-critical environment, 24/7 control room, or similar industry experience with expertise in commissioning systems
- A complete understanding of systems integration techniques
- A thorough knowledge of Barco CMS software and an understanding of the requirements for its implementation within control room environments
- Ability to stand up complex networks and troubleshoot their stability down to switch-level components
- Solid understanding of IP networking and networking certification desired
- Ability to multi-task, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and solid troubleshooting skills
- Frequent travel to client sites using own car and airplane trips required. You must possess a valid driver’s license in the state of residency

We seek a highly skilled Audio-Visual Field Engineer, Mission Critical Environments (MCE) who can help drive our global technology solution-based business to a new level by providing a customer-driven approach to implementing software and systems within control room environments for MCE projects that enhance awareness and protection. Following system design specifications, you execute systems, tackle complex networks and troubleshoot down to switch-level components. You will travel to the customer’s site, collaborating with internal team members to provide an optimized, integrated control room system as designed. Your expertise is in commissioning client systems in control room environments, applying a highly analytical mindset, problem-solving issues, and communicating with teams as needed.
