Job Description - GRAPHIC DESIGNER (T226477)

Position Overview

This role oversees graphic design and brand image development for a variety of marketing and communication initiatives at the UAB School of Health Professions (SHP). The successful candidate will be responsible for creating visual content for ads, magazines, publications, posters, flyers, brochures, animations, and other digital communications. The goal is to support and enhance the school's mission through innovative print and digital media.

Responsibilities

1. Design high-quality graphics for publications, newsletters, videos, websites, social media, invitations, advertisements, flyers, direct mail, postcards, banners, and other marketing materials.
2. Conceptualize layout designs and coordinate the final production of materials.
3. Generate creative ideas, using innovation to redefine designs within constraints of budget, time, and client needs.
4. Meet with clients or team members to determine design requirements.
5. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $46,530 - $75,615 annually

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field, with at least two years of relevant experience. Equivalent work experience may substitute for educational requirements.
