Establish and direct marketing and sales programs. Direct and coordinate advertising programs. Maintain sales awareness throughout the property. Monitor competition through surveys, site visits, etc. Maintain communication with corporate marketing staff. Work closely with other departments to formulate marketing ideas. Develop business from travel and convention-related companies, tour operators, and e-travel sites. Work daily with sales staff to review business status, schedules, priority assignments, and pertinent information. Organize and delegate traces for follow-up. Be knowledgeable of current customers and accounts, particularly corporations, agencies, associations, tour operations, and sports teams. Determine additional business or market segments the hotel should pursue. Develop hotel marketing plan. Establish special packages or programs to boost occupancy during slow periods. Effectively control booking space to maximize yield. Make personal sales calls to meet quotas. Maintain accurate sales files, production reports, and trace systems. Ensure personal and staff sales goals are achieved. Monitor sales staff productivity. Establish annual room revenue budget, sales and marketing budget, and marketing plan with GM. Train sales and Front Office staff on new brand or hotel reservations, marketing, or advertising promotions. Coordinate and maintain effective relations with other departments to promote programs and maintain excellent guest service. Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the hotel. Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Hotel Sales, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. Proven success in managing sales teams and delivering consistent revenue growth in the luxury hospitality sector. Strong network of contacts in the corporate, travel, and group sales markets. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to business development. Proficiency in Sales Management software (e.g., Salesforce, Delphi) and Microsoft Office Suite. Skills and Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Excellent listening skills. Leadership skills to manage a team of Sales associates towards common goals.
