Position Overview
Be a part of ETS's impactful journey through our Global Marketing & Innovation (GMI) Internship Program. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in customer-centric, strategic projects within your assigned department, providing a comprehensive understanding of ETS’s business operations and insights into our industry’s evolving landscape.
The Design Intern will support the Website Experience Manager and Head of Web & eCommerce in optimizing the ETS.org website and delivering exceptional digital experiences. This role will involve:
Updating and optimizing website content and pages for engagement and consistency
Conducting user testing, analyzing feedback, and collaborating with UX designers to improve usability
Monitoring website performance metrics and supporting A/B testing initiatives
Working on eCommerce functionalities to ensure a seamless purchase experience for ETS products and services
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and development
Program Details:
This paid, hybrid internship is expected to begin in early June 2025 and last 8 weeks. Interns must be able to work from our U.S.-based office in Princeton, New Jersey.
Required Skills:
Basic understanding of web design principles and usability standards
Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal)
Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Adobe XD, or Figma for data analysis and UX design
Strong attention to detail for maintaining consistency in branding and design
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills:
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor website adjustments
Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and optimizing checkout processes
Exposure to A/B testing tools and performance optimization techniques
Interest in education technology and digital transformation
Required Education:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in one of the following fields:
UX/UI Design
Digital Media
Computer Science
Information Systems
Human-Computer Interaction (HCI)
Graphic Design
