About the team
As part of the Global Product Solutions & Operations team, you will lead market research, identify product opportunities, and build go-to-market strategies for TikTok's eCommerce products. You will support the end-to-end product journey, from product development to testing, launching, and adoption, and shaping the future of TikTok's eCommerce products.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for optimizing the user experience of global e-commerce content recommendations (like For You Page), including content quality standard definition, low-quality content governance, and delivering relevant e-commerce content to users to create a good shopping experience.
The main tasks include:
- Content Standard Improvement: Continuously iterate on content quality standards to better align with user needs through user research, data analysis, and other methods.
- Problem Assessment & Discovery Mechanism: Establish a multi-dimensional mechanism for problem evaluation and discovery through case assessments, data analysis, and more. This helps the PM and algo teams identify issues. Collaborate with evaluation teams to optimize the accuracy and efficiency of manual evaluations. Regularly output content analyses, summarizing and categorizing issues.
- Problem Solving: Work closely with teams in recommendation PM& algo teams, governance teams, supply side teams, etc., to design recommendation strategies that bring long-term value to users and the business ecosystem. Push for iterative improvements and the implementation of these strategies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of work experience, with a solid understanding of e-commerce business and good insight into user needs and behavior.
- Strong cross-team collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to drive initiatives independently. You should be able to manage regular project follow-ups and reviews. Strong logical and analytical abilities, with a focus on turning both quantitative and qualitative data into actionable solutions.
- Resilience, self-motivation, and responsibility, with a passion for tackling challenges and striving for excellence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in industries such as e-commerce, live streaming, commercial advertising, or machine learning. Experience in content understanding, as well as familiarity with content recognition technologies and recommendation/search techniques (e.g., NLP/AI-related), is highly desirable.
- Language Requirements: Proficiency in both Chinese and English is preferred, as both languages will be used in the work environment and the engineering team is primarily Chinese speaking.
