Our team is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for our clients, from partner meetings to internal team events and everything in between. We are looking for a dedicated Event Center Planner to join our team and help us continue to deliver top-notch events.
About the role
As an Event Center Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and completing a wide range of events at our venue. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure that every detail is meticulously planned and completed. Your role will involve managing all aspects of event planning, from initial consultation to post-event follow-up.
What you will do
Manage event requests and calendaring for events hosted in the Symetra Event Center.
Consult with event hosts to determine meeting purposes/objectives, coordinate and execute all logistics of each meeting, prepare RFPs, and book local venues (as needed).
Work with and support the Corporate Services team to draft/coordinate room set-ups and technology needs for the events.
Develop, test and manage custom websites and registration sites for each meeting or event. Manage and track registrations and keep spreadsheets up-to-date.
Oversee and manage all aspects of on-site meeting coordination, including ground suppliers (if applicable), ensuring a successful and seamless event.
Enterprise-wide relationship building with a focus on the outcome of customer satisfaction.
Partner with the Sports Sponsorships team on the events associated with our partnerships with the Climate Pledge Area and other sponsorships. Supports various shared service teams, employee resource groups, divisional sales teams and our sports sponsorships team.

Compensation
Salary Range: $64,200 - $106,900 plus eligibility for the company annual bonus program.
Who You Are:
High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, or Hospitality preferred.
2+ years of experience as an Event Planner or similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in event management software and tools.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed:
please note that this role requires the individual to come into the Bellevue, Washington office up to 4 times per week, dependent on event schedules.
Relocation is not supported for this position.
