Janek Performance Group is looking for a detail-oriented Learning Content Editor to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced editor with a strong eye for accuracy, consistency, and branding who enjoys working with training and instructional materials. As a remote position, this opportunity offers the flexibility to work from home while collaborating with a team of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality sales training content. Reporting to the Director of Learning & Development, the Learning Content Editor will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and formatting training materials to ensure they meet Janek’s high-quality standards. Edit and proofread training materials in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and PDF files, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. Provide editorial quality assurance for Janek’s digital sales training applications. Format content using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office , ensuring a polished, professional appearance. Collaborate with Instructional Designers, Learning Strategists, and Marketing to keep projects on track. Assist Marketing with proofreading blog posts and other digital content. Track project progress using SharePoint and ensure all materials receive final approval before completion. Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred. ~3+ years of experience in editing and proofreading, ideally in a digital or training content environment. ~ Strong command of the English language , with exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills. ~ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). ~ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. ~ Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, WebEx, or Zoom for virtual collaboration.
