Job Description Key Accountabilities: Understand how to best champion EVS’products and solutions to seize the opportunity vs the competition and/or status quo; Define solutions to address the opportunity; build support within EVS and also within the customer; Present a clear understanding of customer challenges and objectives, either directly in communications with the customerand/or indirectly working through sales; Play a significant role in the customer engagement process, and work strategically with sales to build lasting customer relationships; Provide market feedback to the Markets & Solutions team with on-the-ground experience as a customer-facing expert. The day-to-day involves: Elaborate solutions meeting customers’ requirements and needs, including drafting compelling presentations to capture a customer’s attention; Pitch solutions to customers alongside the sales manager; Organize and deliver demonstrations of products on customers’ premises and/or virtually via web conferences; Organize and proofs-of-concept of proposed solutions on customers’ premises and/or virtually via web conferences; Draft system design and BOMs/quotations and provide technical support to complete sales proposals; Formulate and design/respond to tender requests; Master internal sales tools to aid the Sales team by building BOMs and quotations inside those tools; Manage hand-over to the Project & Support teams for live project implementation, including drafting detailed Technical Scope documentation; Anticipate and define project phases, aligning to product development roadmaps when necessary, ensuring that deadlines can be met; Provide guidance to the Project and Test teams to develop proper testing protocols for any upgrades or implementations prior to rollout to the production system, acting as a customer advocate; Ensure follow-up on the internal development of new products/features needed for sales opportunities with the support of Product Managers; Keep abreast of EVS product portfolio, new technology, market trends, business opportunities and provide internal feedback on competitive gaps; Provide constructive positive and negative product feedback; Present EVS solution concepts in public and industry settings in order to influence the market. Profile
Minimum 5 years experience in the broadcast industry in a solutions architect or pre-sales or sales engineer role; Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast or Engineering. Technical skills: Practical understanding of live production systems. Preferable knowledge of routing, broadcast control systems, and infrastructure; Strong working knowledge of ST2110 architectures and solutions; Strong broadcast and IT skills (AV, OS, network...). Autonomous, able to plan and work independently, proactively, andable to take initiative; Able to meet tight deadlines and manage under pressure; Good communicator, at ease with clients, team player; Flexible and willing to travel. Languages: Knowledge in other languages is an asset.
