Growing Jewelry Company in midtown Manhattan looking for Fashion Jewelry Designer. Must have Fashion Jewelry experience and be able to do hand manipulation. Extensive metal and component library.
Job Description:
- Work closely with teams to build and merchandise strong assortments for account presentations based on trend decks.
- Conceptualize new designs and items to present to the team weekly that reflect brand identity.
- Understand, develop, and create appropriate products within price points and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong ability to identify trends and build collections around them.
- Strong understanding of fashion jewelry design and manufacturing.
- Knowledge of material manipulation and hands-on assembly/sample making.
Skills and Competencies Required:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize workload successfully, and execute projects with fast turnaround, ahead of tight deadlines.
- Highly proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Organized with strong follow-up and follow-through.
