Admissions DirectorReports to either Corporate CFO and to the COO.Must have experience in a busy hospital environment.Very busy ER. Leap frog score is an A.Lots of opportunity to grow within the company as the hospital system has various locations.Responsibilities
Manage admissions and discharge processesDevelop and implement best practices for admissionsManage admissions staff, including recruiting, hiring, and trainingMonitor admissions capacity and communicate with cliniciansDevelop strategies to generate revenue and maintain patient satisfactionDevelop and maintain relationships with community referral sourcesWork with marketing to develop promotional materialEnsure compliance with federal and state regulationsMaintain model rooms for toursSkills
In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulationsExperience in admissions, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing settingAbility to develop and maintain relationships with community referral sourcesAbility to solve problems and develop corrective actionsAbility to develop and maintain departmental and institutional goalsMinimum Requirements:
Bachelors Minimum.
