Position SummaryAs Associate Director, Content and Sponsorships, you are situated within the development of sponsorships, branded content, and experiences, ideating and leveraging the best-in-class media community. This role is focused on T-Mobile to deliver groundbreaking work that is culturally relevant to break through the clutter in a competitive category.
We are seeking an individual who has related experience in the space to deliver ideas in our fast-paced agency environment, but also has the diligence and attention to detail to ensure the ideas are executed with precision and meet the needs of T-Mobile. This role will report to the Group Director, with support below, and access to agency resources and other crafts to ensure alignment with T-Mobile's strategies and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Relentlessly seeks, shares, and adopts ideas to ensure T-Mobile has a competitive advantage in the marketplace
- Makes the complex simple - through brainstorms, workshops, and educational summits, you empower others to learn and action your lessons
- Ideate and lead the creation of branded content and sponsorships, in partnership with media partners, identify and develop partnerships, from concept to execution.
- Define content marketing strategies and plans across multiple channels (Instagram, FB, YouTube, Snapchat, publisher partners, digital, experiential, press/PR, B2B, and other channels) alongside internal and external partners
- Ability to balance the creative concepts with the logistically feasible and operationally sound
- Significant client interaction with brands and media partners
- Work directly with the internal teams and respective creative and agency partners for T-Mobile
- Understand the goals and objectives of T-Mobile and their respective lines of business; develop learnings and insight on T-Mobile's objectives to effectively develop ideas and execution
- Build and develop industry relationships that put T-Mobile in the best position to succeed.
- Development of measurement plans to track success with T-Mobile's partnerships to ensure the ideas are making a business impact and delivering on the client's KPIs and objectives.
- Understanding how to evaluate, validate and negotiate media packages within sponsorships and determine if these assets and deal points satisfy T Mobile's objectives.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in integrated planning/buying role in agency, media, publisher, or communications discipline (digital, content)
- Experience with sponsorships, content/experiential marketing, event strategy and/or live customer engagement
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to delegate and oversee direct reports
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 4+ years relevant experience, with 2+ years of experience in managing or developing staff
- A culture watcher - passion for culture and its infusion into the consumer brand ecosystem (i.e. Sports, Entertainment, eSports)
- Self-starter with the confidence and ability to tackle new initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to effectively develop engaging activation ideas to achieve client goals
- Ability to ensure consistency and best practices across all projects
- Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and media partners
- A natural relationship-builder and communication.

The salary range for this position is posted below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee's/applicant's skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
