What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as liaison with Publishing Director and Editors for assigned imprint(s)
- Coordinate with Production and Copyediting staff on all projects involving assigned imprint(s)
- Maintain data networks for imprint titles and support various managing editorial teams
- Conduct bi-weekly status meetings and project planning discussions as needed
- Review manuscript tagging for consistency, clarity, and accuracy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in managing editorial, production editorial, or project management
- Expert proofreading skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word; knowledge of Excel and File Maker is a plus
