The Multi-Domain Solutions (MDS) division is on the lookout for a talented Systems Architect to join us in a new program aimed at supporting essential government systems.
Your role will involve managing system infrastructures, implementing best practices, enhancing system functionality, and ensuring robust backup and recovery of IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal configuration, maintenance, and performance of physical and virtual systems.
Implement industry best practices for system reliability, functionality, and security while independently handling critical system components.
Lead system design initiatives, performance tuning, patch implementation, and disaster recovery planning.
Analyze technical requirements and propose improvements that enhance overall infrastructure performance and stability.
Monitor system performance logs, identify anomalies, and effectively troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Ensure timely implementation of crucial patches and updates for system stability and security.
Basic Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with Poly Clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Hands-on experience in installation, configuration, administration, support, and maintenance of systems and related hardware.
Proven ability to monitor, tune, and optimize system performance, including storage allocation.
Strong troubleshooting skills in system performance, with knowledge of operating systems like Linux and Windows.
Experience with Microsoft Windows environments, including server administration and deployment.
Proficiency in administering Active Directory for user management and network access controls.
Solid skills in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management tasks.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V for improved infrastructure performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, CompTIA Security+, or VMware VCP.
Advanced scripting abilities in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate processes across diverse environments.
Experience in implementing enterprise security policies, including patch management and system hardening practices.
A background in systems engineering, from lifecycle planning to integration and performance optimization of complex environments.
Familiarity with virtualized and hybrid cloud infrastructures such as Azure or AWS.
Understanding of systems support workflows and ticketing systems like ServiceNow.

Pay Range:
$72,150.00 - $130,425.00
