Our client, a family-owned, locally operated, multi-faceted real estate development, brokerage, construction, and property management firm is seeking to hire an Architecture Design Project Manager . This is a full-time position that includes a salary range of $90K-$105K+ (depending on relevant experience) and will include a full benefits package of medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) with match, long-term/short-term disability and more! We are seeking a candidate who has experience completing the design and scope development for new construction and capital improvement projects inside a multi-family environment. Strong project management skills will be required for this role.
Position Overview
The Architecture Design Project Manager will be responsible for creating the design and scope of development work for capital improvement projects across a portfolio of multi-family assets. You will also act as Project Manager helping organize budgets, subcontracting team, key timelines, and updates as these construction projects progress.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Development of the scope of work and bidding out assigned Capital Improvement projects.
- Complete “Authorization to Proceed” forms and obtain the necessary approvals.
- Provide updates for the Program of Work monthly.
- Draft scope of work for Subcontractor or review and refine scope (prepared by others).
- Management of contractors and vendors to complete project work.
- Prepare schedules of all Subcontractor’s work as well as time durations for review and approval.
- Meet as necessary with Subcontractors to discuss quality or time issues individually as directed by the Director of Facilities Management.
- Manage project documents internally and through SharePoint for external access if necessary.
- Attend or conduct site visit walkthroughs with clients and subcontractors.
- Review Project Costs – Approve monthly subcontractor partial and final payments.
- Promptly review scope and cost revisions. Prepare change orders and gain necessary approvals.
- Participate in and lead job start up and close out meetings.
- Participate in and lead improvement efforts.
- Schedule material deliveries.
- Coordinate equipment rentals as requested.
- Coordinate return goods back to vendors.
- Take photos of completed jobs.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as requested by the Director of Facility Management.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience creating the design and scope of development work for capital improvement and construction projects.
- 2-5+ years of experience acting as a Project Manager and overseeing construction and capital improvement projects for a multi-family portfolio.
- B.S. Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering.
- Comfortable using multiple computer programs to communicate with stakeholders and update project progress using MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Bluebeam, MS Excel, and Yardi.
- Ability to read and interpret monthly financial statements and develop budgets.
