Position Responsibilities
Coordinate management of material resource center to maintain organization, filing and storage of manufacturer’s product samples and information for access and use by office staff. Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and artisans of interior and architectural materials. Coordinate vendor/product presentations and educational sessions. Provide initial evaluation of products and materials for aesthetic and functional consideration to include in the library and on firm projects. Support the application and specification for proposed material and product selections by investigation and collection and dissemination of related data, samples and documentation to project team members.
Minimum Qualifications
Current student in an accredited bachelor’s program or master’s degree program in architecture or related field of study in a New York City (or surrounding area) based school. Some experience in the architectural profession or associated arts. Strong design capabilities as demonstrated in portfolio or work samples. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino and visualization software. Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
Compensation for this role is based upon experience, qualifications, location, and education and typically ranges from $23/per hour to $25/per hour.
