(Position is in Saratoga, Wyoming)- Must be Wyoming Certified as a Music Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must satisfy all Wyoming regulations for eligibility and teacher certification.
- Such other qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.
The Teacher, under normal circumstances, will be elected by the Board no later than April 15. Contract/Extra Duty terms shall be established by the Board. Salary and fringe benefits shall be as adopted by the Board for certified staff.
REPORTS TO: Assigned Administrator
JOB GOAL: Provide the instruction necessary to empower all students to succeed in a changing world, as outlined in the District’s Mission Statement.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Implement the instructional program according to Board policy.
- Provide instruction to students in the curricular performance standards (outcomes) and provide correctives and enrichments as appropriate.
- Be familiar with and follow all District and building rules, policies, and procedures.
- Provide a nurturing and safe learning environment. Support and assist in maintaining order and discipline.
- Accurately prepare and submit all required reports.
- Report any serious accident, illness, or suspected harassment or abuse affecting any student.
- Attend staff meetings, participate in District and building curriculum and in-service programs as directed by the Principal.
- Be prepared for daily lessons and provide lesson plans when requested by the Principal.
- Participate in the selection of instructional materials.
- Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and ethics.
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality when entrusted with privileged information.
- Communicate with Assigned Administrator on a regular basis.
- Perform such other appropriate duties as may be assigned by the assigned administrator.
- Requires driving skills.
- Requires prolonged travel.
