About the Role Interactive Strategies is looking for an Email Marketing Associate to help execute dynamic and high-impact email campaigns for nonprofit clients. This role requires strategic thinking, attention to detail, and technical expertise in email marketing. The ideal candidate will work across multiple email platforms to build, deploy, and optimize email campaigns that drive engagement and fundraising success. The position is open to remote candidates within the U.S. and offers the option to work hybrid in Washington, DC.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic email marketing campaigns that follow best practices and innovative approaches. Build and deploy emails using platforms like EveryAction, Engaging Networks, and Luminate. Manage audience segmentation and email lists to ensure targeted and personalized messaging. Oversee email automation campaigns to enhance user engagement. Ensure email quality assurance, and testing across multiple devices and email clients. Analyze campaign performance data and recommend optimizations for better engagement and ROI. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure campaigns align with objectives. Stay up to date with the latest email marketing trends and emerging digital strategies. Basic Qualifications
1-2+ years of experience in email marketing. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing or a related field. Experience building and deploying segmented email campaigns. Some working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email templates. Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. Experience working with various email marketing platforms. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple campaigns and prioritize effectively. Up-to-date with digital marketing best practices. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an agency or nonprofit setting. Familiarity with fundraising campaigns and donor engagement strategies.
