Position Summary The Public Relations Specialist will assist with all aspects of the public relations and communications efforts of Licking Memorial Health Systems, with a strong focus on writing, editing and design work. Responsibilities Responsibilities also include but are not limited to: Designing and writing publications, articles, press releases, presentations, advertisements, brochures, newsletters and direct mail pieces. This position also requires assistance at community events during evenings and weekends. Requirements Preferred: Four-year degree in graphic design/visual communication with concentration in communications and writing. Minimum of two years of writing and graphic design experience required, in addition to an excellent command of the English language, strong grammatical and editing skills and oral communication skills. Previous health care experience preferred. Must demonstrate competency with computer software, including word processing, publication design, and photography. Candidates with skills in Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop) are preferred.
