Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Publicist Assistant for an industry-leading entertainment communications firm representing globally recognized talent in film and television. This exciting opportunity is for an onsite temporary position located in Sherman Oaks, CA.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant to support a top-tier publicist working with elite names in entertainment. This dynamic role requires a proactive, composed, and resourceful professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about the entertainment industry. For the right candidate, this is a unique chance to gain full-spectrum training in personal publicity and grow into a potential long-term role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate schedules, confirmations, and logistics for interviews, press tours, photoshoots, and glam team holds
• Draft pitches, press releases, and offer-related materials for clients
• Monitor media coverage and relevant industry news, and share timely updates with the team
• Manage digital press kits and maintain updated bios and materials
• Respond to client needs and requests with professionalism and urgency
• Research and compile strategic media lists for targeted pitching and outreach
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain composed and efficient under tight deadlines
• Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Passion for the entertainment and publicity industries with a proactive mindset
• Comfortable working on a Mac-based system and in a high-energy team environment
  
  

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This position offers a pay range of $21$22 per hour, depending on experience. It is a full-time temporary assignment with a standard MondayFriday, 9:00 AM6:00 PM schedule. All work will be conducted onsite at a professional office in Sherman Oaks, CA. The office is equipped with both desktop and Mac computers, and parking is provided. While this is a temporary role, there is opportunity for growth and high-level client integration for the right individual.
