This position is responsible for the direction, planning, analysis and coordination of product and corporate digital operations, programs or services. Individual will manage, review and approve the overall planning, production, and execution of the Lottery’s digital marketing efforts.
This position's responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Fiscal year media plans;
- Television, radio and interactive media campaigns;
- Statewide messaging for permanent point-of-sale;
- Product development and promotion point-of-sale materials at retail;
- Outdoor jackpot board and responsible gaming campaigns;
- Other media deliverables;
- Primary liaison with Lottery’s advertising agency which includes providing concise creative briefs, ensuring the advertising aligns with the brand’s identity, advertising guidelines, responsible gaming parameters and effectively communicates the desired messaging;
- Review and/or revise advertising messaging and trademarking to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, plans, procedures and advertising guidelines;
- Supervise multi-million-dollar advertising budget for all media and production expenditures as well as POS printing, premium and promotion materials;
- Support initiatives by working with the promotions and product managers to understand their products’ needs and challenges and use this knowledge to oversee the advertising plans, marketing campaigns and media buys.
This position must be able to establish and maintain working relationships with agency officials, advertising agency partners, licensing branding partners, printing partners, staff associates, contractors, suppliers, players, the general public and others. The ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, is a must. Some overnight travel is required.
Four years of professional experience in product marketing (gaming preferred), consumer promotion and advertising; and graduation from an accredited four-year college with specialization in marketing, advertising, public relations, communications or journalism; or closely related areas. (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the stated education.)
