Seeking an established Executive Producer to raise funds for a 1980s period horror film set in LA's Mexican immigrant community, featuring folklore most of the Spanish-speaking world knows.
The dialogue is primarily in English with some Spanish. In addition to its international reach, there is franchise potential, as the film serves as the central character’s origin story. To date, no other horror film has tapped into the subject folklore.
The story was previously optioned by a premier Spanish-language content studio, but the screenwriters did not renew.
