Launch That is seeking a Marketing Outreach Coordinator Intern to work up to 29 hours a week in a hybrid flexible workplace environment. Our hybrid work model consists of work-from-home opportunities, with 3 in-office days (T, W, TH) to maximize team collaboration and 2 WFH days (M, F). We believe in offering ongoing flexibility when it comes to the things that happen in life, like childcare, doctor appointments and the joys of homeownership!
This is an opportunity to gain hands-on digital marketing experience in a modern and technology-driven environment. This internship runs for 4 months and pays $13.00 per hour.
The Marketing Outreach Coordinator Intern is responsible for mastering our link building process, link building part-time for a company property, building searches and harvesting contact information for distribution to other team members, and reporting on various performance metrics.
Day-to-Day:
At the direction of, and with the training and oversight from others within the department:
To contact other website owners on behalf of our site
To create and develop emails that convey our lines of business and engage recipients
To communicate effectively and consistently via email to assist your success
To reach monthly/quarterly link goals
To create link building search phrases on a weekly basis
To harvest contact information on a weekly basis
To assist with reports via data collection and ultimately report generation
To provide support to the team as needed
Detail oriented and has the ability to update statuses in a database
Organize an email inbox efficiently and working in Google Drive applications
Ensuring outreach contacts are high quality organizations/websites
Continuously driven and motivated on a day to day basis
Work collaboratively with team members in your department and cross-departmentally to gain diverse viewpoints. This is an essential investment into our culture and includes identifying needs, pooling strengths and insights and evaluating data for inclusive goal completion to benefit the team and company's strategic goals.
Be agile regarding changes in team or company priorities
Able to collaborate with Manager, Outreach Strategists and other Outreach Coordinators on various initiatives and tasks
Respectful of other team member's ideas and opinions
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with teammates and management
Attending weekly team meetings or company-wide meetings
Qualifications:
A college junior, senior, graduate student or recent college postgraduate with an interest or education in digital marketing OR someone seeking to change careers to digital marketing
A fundamental understanding of Internet search and an ability to learn more about it
Knowledge of Gmail and Google apps
Proven ability to work in Google Sheets, Google Docs
Willingness to take direction but also to find creative ways to improve on that direction – initiative
Time-management skills
