About the Role: AARP seeking a skilled Video Editor to join its dynamic post-production team. This editor will be responsible for transforming scripts and raw footage into polished, high-quality video content that supports various organization-wide needs. The role involves direct collaboration with producers, adherence to existing visual styles and templates, and contributing to a creative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Edit engaging and seamless video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, with additional use of After Effects and Photoshop Deliver polished rough cuts and final videos, incorporating feedback from producers and executive producers Manage 2–3 projects at a time, balancing multiple deadlines with support from the team lead Maintain organized project files for easy handoff, archival, or revisions Collaborate with cross-functional teams including producers, editors, and graphic artists Follow AARP brand templates and storytelling styles while applying creative problem-solving skills Support the implementation of post-production best practices and workflows Required Qualifications: 8–10+ years of professional video editing experience (flexible for exceptional candidates) Proven expertise in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (especially Premiere Pro) Strong storytelling skills and attention to visual flow and pacing Portfolio or reel demonstrating a range of work across industries or content types Excellent multitasking and organizational skills Comfortable taking initiative while also collaborating closely with producers Ability to work independently with minimal handholding after onboarding Nice-to-Haves: Experience with Adobe Illustrator Background in branded content or editorial-style productions Familiarity with remote post-production workflows #J-18808-Ljbffr
