CAD Services Specialist Location:
Hybrid (Remote & Onsite as needed in Wilson, NC) Job Type:
Part-Time, On-Demand (10-15 hours per month) Job Summary: We are seeking a
CAD Services Specialist
to oversee and maintain AutoCAD (2004) drawing database. This role involves managing system documentation, including P&ID, architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings, as well as general arrangements, rack layouts, and utilities. The ideal candidate will work remotely but must be within driving distance of Wilson, NC, for occasional onsite project meetings. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update redlined drawings while ensuring accuracy through coordination with engineering firms. Verify field measurements, create and revise documents, and manage revision control of design documents. Provide direct support to project engineers. Communicate and maintain as-built drawings and project documentation in both paper and electronic formats through the documentation library. Update and manage the document management system, coordinate change controls, and support document requests (including formatting, copying, and issuing procedures, work instructions, and drawings). Ensure compliance with controlled substance documentation and accountability procedures, maintaining awareness of diversion and theft risks. Perform other duties and assignments as required. Qualifications & Requirements: Associate’s degree or full certification in a related field. Minimum
5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience . At least
2 years of hands-on AutoCAD experience
in a pharmaceutical or engineering environment. Strong knowledge of
P&ID drawings, loop diagrams , and the ability to walk down and reconcile drawings with field devices. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Work Environment: Hybrid role:
