Position Overview: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of client projects, ensuring that healthcare advertising campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with client objectives. This role requires expertise in project management, healthcare marketing, and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry’s unique regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple healthcare advertising projects simultaneously from inception to completion, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including creative, strategy, medical, legal, and digital teams, to ensure seamless execution and delivery of campaigns.
- Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and provide accurate forecasts to clients and stakeholders.
- Resource Allocation: Manage resource planning, ensuring appropriate allocation of personnel and time to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
- Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge: Ensure all advertising materials comply with healthcare industry regulations, including FDA, FTC, and other relevant standards.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks or obstacles and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the project remains on track.
- Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular project updates to clients and internal teams, including progress reports, timelines, and post-campaign analysis.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the refinement of project management processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Healthcare, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years of experience in healthcare advertising.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including regulations, trends, and challenges.
- Proven experience managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
