POSITION SUMMARY: In Balchem's Human Nutrition and Health Business, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions in the food, beverage and nutrition space. Our marketing team plays a crucial role in shaping our brand, connecting with our audience, and driving growth. We're looking for a passionate and creative Marketing Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of marketing. Duties include data analysis, content writing, market research, customer prospecting and strategic partnership development. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Responsible for the completion and reporting on of any assigned tasks and projects * Assist in the creation and management of content for social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) * Conduct market research to identify key market trends, target audiences, and competitors * Contribute and edit Balchem Beat Newsletter and website copy * Support the development of marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and advertisements * Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics (e.g., social media engagement, website traffic, conversion rates) * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and product development, to align marketing strategies and new product development plans * Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and strategies * Assist in organizing promotional events, trade shows, or webinars * Perform administrative tasks related to marketing initiatives as needed * Learn and strictly adhere to the safety culture and policies * Support Balchem Corporation's mission, vision, and values - learn more at www.balchem.com REQUIREMENTS: * Ideally a Junior currently enrolled in college at an accredited University or completed BA or BS in Marketing, Communications or Business * Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Relevant intern or employment experience in marketing or a related field is a plus #IN Balchem is committed to a workplace culture that values and promotes diversity, inclusion, equal employment opportunities, and a work environment free of harassment and hostility.
