PLITEK L.L.C. is seeking an Extruder Machine Operator for an immediate opening. This key role requires a self-starter with a focus on quality and responsibility. Knowledge of extrusion machinery (blown, cast, sheet, injection molding), press setup, and process improvements is essential.
Note: The role may involve shifts between operating an extruder and other presses based on demand.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, completing process runs, and documentation, primarily extruding plastic-based films. Prior experience with extrusion processes is mandatory.
Job Details:
- 12-hour shifts and overnight rotations possible.
- Experience, training, or education in machine operation required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with quality measurement tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Conduct quality inspections and record results.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma and/or GED.
- Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- At least 6 months of machine operation experience on related equipment.
